I love today’s challenge on (#30DaysofGOOD)  The GOOD 30-Day Challenge …making a big batch of Healthy Soup.

With the Holiday Weekend Leftovers.. Turkey soup is a very good choice…here is a healthy recipe I found on line http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/healthy-recipes/NU00401 be  watchful of your sodium intake health experts warn.  Although this recipe asks for canned tomatoes.  I prefer fresh and I love to add a dash of Cayenne Pepper …just to kick it up a notch…The main ingredient in cayenne is called capsaicin that can burn extra calories in your body in a way similar to exercise but it’s not going to be dramatic.

Dietitian’s tip: Use the turkey leftovers from a holiday meal or family gathering to make a hearty turkey soup. To limit the sodium content, this recipe uses reduced-sodium chicken broth and unsalted canned tomatoes ( I like to use fresh tomatoes)

Tomorrow’s challenge: Cook all your food.
